Wilma Ferguson

As a writer, I enjoyed success at the Scottish Association of Writers with articles, short stories and children’s stories. Some have been published in the People’s Friend and Scottish Memories. I have also contributed to anthologies for Erskine Writers and an entry for Writers’ Forum was accepted in their ‘First Draft’ section. I am currently writing my first book, on the building of Blawarthill Church in Scotstoun, the only church in the 1960s to be physically built by congregation members.

I am married with a daughter and son, and have two grandchildren. My former career included lecturing in secretarial studies and assessing customer service in the workplace. I later took up the practice of Reiki, teaching at Mugdock Country Park.
