Born Lancashire ‘Some time before WWII.’ Degrees from Manchester University and Open University. Lived in Glasgow since 1962. Recipient of Writer’s Bursary from Scottish Arts Council, 1978. Tutor in ‘Imaginative Writing,’ Glasgow University, Dept. of Adult and Continuing Education, 1978-83.
